"Arthur Duncan would have loved this party. A veritable who's who of the Chicago blues gathered Friday night at Rosa's Blues Lounge - the site last January of Little Arthur's CD/DVD release party - to pay tribute to the fun-loving blues harp player, who died about a month ago.
The event, organized by Delmark Records and Rosa's, brought together many of the best blues musicians Chicago has to offer in a night-long jam that had the crowd up and dancing. Hosting were the members of Little Arthur's band, the Backscratchers, featuring guitarists Illinois Slim and Rick Kreher, bassist Mike Azzi and drummer Twist Turner. A lineup of vocalists, guitarists, harpers and drummers mixed it up to play an electrifying evening of blues."
